Zouk Tokyo — Restaurant in Tokyo

Awful experience. Don’t even bother listening to their generic and automated responses. We were a group of 4 from Canada, East Asian, and this was our experience:

Our friend left his phone in the cab and had to go back and get it. We tried to communicate this to the bouncer yet he kept just brushing us off and telling us to go back downstairs even though we CLEARLY needed help. So much diverse staff yet everyone is just as ignorant and unwilling to help as each other.

They need to realize tourism is a HUGE part of their economy. We even tried our best to communicate via google translate and apologize in Japanese for inconveniencing them (which please, this is their job???). Goodluck surviving without tourists considering it’s 4000 yen per male and no one in Japan is regularly affording that. In the end we had to leave because bouncer wouldn’t communicate with us or our friend and try to sort the situation for reentry (we didn’t mind paying again), and just kept brushing us off.

Oh and it’s 1000 yen per shot. Which is even more than in Canada. Crazy because I thought Toronto was one of the most expensive cities. Or maybe they just charge foreigners more, which is riduclous. Again, goodluck surviving witbout tourism, which you’re driving away with your...

Been to Zouk Las Vegas so had high expectations of Zouk Tokyo, and it did not disappoint.

Vibes were immaculate. Gave the same feel as a Vegas nightclub. Our VIP hostess took amazing care of us and made us feel very welcome and set the vibe right. Bottle service tables were roomy and close to the dance floor so you get your privacy and can still turn up with everyone else.
