茶房 夢屋 — Restaurant in Toyooka

This is a must visit for breakfast or even just a coffee when in town. Such a charming atmosphere, and the food and coffee were out of this world delicious. I have to say without exaggeration, it was one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had.

The establishment appears to be operated by a husband and wife duo, and has maybe 8 tables total. They have a menu of perfect size, good options but not overwhelming, just what they have perfected.

We were sat near a window facing the main street, and it was a quiet and relaxing start to our day of beauty and zen that is the entire town of Kinosaki-Onsen.

The breakfast sandwiches were plentiful and delicious, and the toast with homemade jam and local honey was mind blowing. We purchased a jar of jam to take with us.

Prices were great, service was excellent, atmosphere was relaxing, and the food and coffee...

Looks ordinary but was surprise when the toast and homemade jam taste really yummy! Tried their salt raw fish sandwich, like it (⑅˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈ ) Family totally love the peach offered by nearby supermarket sweet and juicy!

Love kinosaki onsen when we visited...

My husband and I popped in to grab some sandwiches for our train journey back to Kyoto. They were delicious! Beautifully made and hit the spot, would highly recommend. If we had time, we would have sat in to eat as the atmosphere...
