I was set to spend two nights in Kinosaki Onsen. A coworker of mine strongly suggested I treat myself to Kinosaki Burger.
I skipped my Kaiseki breakfast at Shinzan so that I could indulge in a Tajima Beef Burger. Being the clueless foreigner I am, I checked out of my ryokan and headed straight for Kinosaki burger. Realizing I had a little over an hour before they opened, I dropped my luggage into a locker and bought my ticket to Osaka at the train station.
After waiting about 40 minutes(I was the only person waiting), they opened their doors. I was promptly greeted and seated. I love the atmosphere here. It’s cozy, clean, and professional. I opted for a double cheeseburger with fries and a banana milk. The burger was INCREDIBLE! You can certainly tell this is not your average beef. The fries were cooked to perfection, and the banana milk was delicious. The perfect meal to keep me content for the train ride to Osaka.
I’m very much looking forward to returning...

How a little place like this manages to do such a brilliant job with such pace and consistency is a real credit to the team, management, and quality of ingredients sourced from their suppliers, and should be studied by...
Read moreGot Tajima beef cheese burger sets with shake for my kids. I tried some, and the taste definitely beats In N Out in California. But it’s odd paying more for a hamburger in Japan than I would for similar burger from my home country. Prob because beef is expensive to come by in Japan?
One thing I didn’t like is how they have a rule posted at the entrance that each person dining in has to purchase a meal. Why? There was plenty of seating and the dining area was practically empty. Is this directed towards loitering tourists during peak season? I mainly bought these just for my kids to eat and not me so I had to do take out. Ridiculous rule. Should remove that sign during off peak...
