Yamayoshi — Restaurant in Toyooka

This is my eighth trip to Japan and the made-to-order Tajima yakiniku bento might be one of the most delicious things I’ve had in my life. The sweet sauce, the texture and flavour of the thinly sliced beef, the accompanying pickles… it all made me inhale the bento like a famished warthog the second i sat down in the train.

Ignore the crab spam if it’s not crab season, get some incredible Tajima...

The restaurant is easy to find as it is just 10 meters right in front of the Kinosaki train station.
