City Harbor 洋食&Bar — Restaurant in Tsukuba

I celebrated my birthday this month at City Harbor with friends, and it was truly unforgettable 🥳. Even before we walked in, we were already wowed by the beautiful music and night view outside 🌃. The soft blue lighting felt like a peaceful harbor welcoming us in—perfect after a long, hot day 🌊✨.

The staff greeted us warmly and showed us to our reserved seats 😊. We had the C-Course with all-you-can-drink, and everything—from the fish to the meat dishes—was delicious 🍽️. With the weather over 30°C, that first ice-cold draft beer was pure heaven 🍺❄️.

We also tried dishes from their Open Fire Cooking menu, including the German-style roasted pork knuckle and grilled chicken wings with Thousand Island Sauce—both were amazing and unlike anything I’ve had before 🔥🍖.

Then came a surprise: a birthday plate with sparklers 🎇, brought out on a stylish cart while the whole restaurant played “Happy Birthday” and clapped along 🎶👏. It was such a sweet and touching moment—I’ll never forget it 💖.

To top it all off, we ordered a bottle of Canadian ice wine we spotted at the counter 🍷. Paired with cheese and dessert, it really was—as the menu said—like a kiss in love 💋🧀🍰.

Great Food and Service, The Perfect Italian Place in Tsukuba

Our friends suggested us to visit City Harbor during new opening, We had an amazing meal here . the food was all expertly prepared and presented. the dining environment is beautiful and comfortable, the outdoor seating is my favorite, the seats and tables at night can be illuminated, eating food and enjoy the Jazz music feels very romantic. this place should be better than many rated restaurants we went to in Tokyo. The service was perfect, everyone was so attentive. my friends and I like here and for sure will visit often...

I'm out here at an outdoor beer garden with six Finnish friends, enjoying the beautiful night view. The air is so fresh, the draft beer is perfect, and we're having some amazing barbecue cooked right in front of us by the chef.
