Crystal Palace Restaurant — Restaurant in Urayasu

Honestly I have to say - it was an awful experience. We booked the table for 4pm arrived on time to a massive massive queue outside of the place and inside of the restaurant… We showed our reservation and we were send to the end of the queue and told to wait with everyone else… so basically what’s the point of making the reservation? It’s givint a huge scam? We asked multiple members of staff how long will the wait be - none of them would answer and just said to pay. Basically they make you PAY FOR YOUR MEAL before you even sit down to the table and they won’t tell you how long the wait is just so you pay and then are stuck waiting for HOURS for a table. Oh and the queue? It wasn’t actually for a table it was to pay for the dinner 😂😂😂 Honestly a joke. Staff was so incredibly rude and one of the girls walked away from me mid conversation twice! There seem to be some staffing issue but come on ! Its disney! Train your staff to provide better customer service!...

It was not possible for us to book via the Disney app for reasons unknown. When we walked in at 10am to book in person, the earliest timeslot was 4pm. So plan in advance or sort out the working of the app to book as soon as you are in the park. The cost of ¥4500pp was really affordable though we only had 75 minutes to dine. Plan your time to maximize enjoying the buffet. The cut of beef was a little inconsistent - you may get the sinewy parts sliced for you. We love the tempura prawns and fried chicken. While there is no hot chocolate for the churros, you can ask for chocolate ice cream (next to the roast beef) in substitute. There is churro with chocolate filling though that does not count in our view. Very well...

We came here for a booked lunch. We arrived slightly early and were seated almost on time. So far so good for Disney. We'd confirmed the available options ahead of time as we have dietary requirements established they had a good range of options that we could eat.

This was not the case. After only finding salad, ratatouille tartlets and pasta salad to eat we spoke to a staff member about the vegetarian/ vegan options and they came back with a list of things that we could choose to omit. Ultimately it ended up being a curry and a soup, both with rice.

Not what we had expected, and not worth 4500 yen each. A real shame and disappointing as we've always had good experiences at other Disney locations...
