Grand Paradis Lounge — Restaurant in Urayasu

Glad we managed to experience the food and desserts in this wonderful restaurant! We had the seafood calzone (2,800 yen) and tuna confit and semi dried tomato tartine (2,800 yen) followed by the dessert set (5,000 yen). The dessert set (available from 8 Nov till Xmas) consists of pork rilettes in choux pastry, chocolate tart, mandarin verrine, petite kouglaf and Strawberry and Raspberry Parfait served with Pistachio Pudding and Caramel Chocolate Crumble.

We complete the meal with two pots of apple crumble tea (one served with the dessert set and another with 500 yen add on).

The tuna confit and semi dried tomato tartine is delightful served on a sourdough bread with crispy crusts. Th seafood calzone is also delicious though we preferred the tuna confit and semi dried tomato tartine as the calzone crust is a bit hard though it’s fillings have great seafood flavour.

The desserts are very sweet and have a great mix of savoury (for pork rilettes in choux pastry) and sweetness (the rest). The best is the Strawberry and Raspberry Parfait served with Pistachio Pudding and Caramel Chocolate Crumble, which as the long name suggests, comes with a lot of ingredients. It is a delight for both eyes and mouth as the decorations and taste are really unforgettable.

The restaurant is brightly and beautifully decorated with wisteria, butterflies and dragonflies.

Service is expectedly great as per Japan standards which friendly and attentive service. Will definitely recommending eating here though price is definitely...

食事、ホール、内装、サービス良かったです。 しかし何時まで滞在してよいかキャストさんに確認したところ、LOは22時だが滞在自体は何時まででも良いとのことでした。

それなら22時半まではいようかと思いキャストさんに伝えました。 22時を過ぎると途端にスタッフが代わり(おそらくキッチンの20代くらいの女性)感じ悪く、目も合わせず笑顔もなく、お冷をタン！と置いていき何度も皿を下げに来て、挙句1/3くらい残っている飲み物も下げようとしました。 22時までしか滞在してはいけないのですか？ 最後にガッカリな気持ちになりました。

ここ半年でランホ、アンバ、ミラコ、と泊まりましたがラウンジの中で1番嫌な印象が残りました。 ドリンクは3種類頼みましたが、お代わりの紅茶はグラスも変えず氷も出されず最後はぬるくなりました。

また、オリジナルブレンドティーをおかれると良いと思います。 パンはホテルで焼き上げてるとの事で柔らかく食べやすかったです。 22時までのキャストさんの対応は申し分なくとても、素敵な時間を過ごせました。 お席も、1番良い眺めの良い席を通して頂き幸せな気持ちになった分、最後に突き落とされたような気持ちになりました。

退店の際も挨拶なくホールでお喋りする背中しか見えず、こちらから「ありがとうございました」と声をかけると軽くペコッとされただけでした。

そして素晴らしい対応のキャストさんはベルデスク付近に移動していました。 ピークタイムを過ぎてからのスタッフ教育も徹底して欲しいです。

株価も下がっていますし、原作へのリスペクトの気持ちを忘れず...

■3回目訪問は1月の平日、17時前におじゃましました。 事前予約廃止になり、当日に店頭での受付のみになってます。 デザートセットが売り切れていることもあってか、空いていて、待たされることはありませんでした。 2人なのに、入って左奥、6人くらい座れそうな窓向きの大きいソファー席に案内してもらえて、感激！個室感たっぷりでくつろげました。 スタッフの方は「アレンデールサイドの席」と命名しているようで、夕暮れ時はことさらに素敵な景色です。 華麗な店内、素敵な景色、スタッフのみなさんの優雅なおもてなしで、お姫様気分で過ごすことがきました♡ もちろん、ケーキも「これがミルフィーユか！！」と驚く繊細なお味でピカイチです！
