Saizeriya — Restaurant in Urayasu

This is a Japanese Italian chain and it has great prices. Walking in, it smelled more American than Japanese (like griddled hamburgers) which is just an interesting observation. They specialize in pastas and pizzas but have other things too, including a drink bar. My group of four ordered entrees, and sides (salad or bread) plus a 1.5l (magnum) bottle of red wine from Italy (I mixed up 1500ml for 1000¥ with 1000ml for 1500¥) so we shared with friends at another table. The wine was perfectly decent but obviously not a, "fine wine." I ordered spaghetti carbonara with extra pecorino cheese and Italian salad with fresh mozzarella. My gf got chicken wings, salad and focaccia bread. Everything was pretty tasty and the total bill for four was 4000¥ including the wine, so about $8 each! My only comment is that many of the pastas are available for similar prices at 7-Eleven or other combini so you could save even more if you don't mind microwaved meals, but I don't think you can get such a deal on the wine. Of course they have some signature pastas as well if you want something different and the atmosphere is nicer than a combini, so I would have no problem coming back. You get what you pay for. The food is inexpensive and tastes cheap. Japanese does Italian food quite well so I would recommend going to a different Italian restaurant that costs a little bit more but tastes a lot better. The pictures on the menu look WAY better...

総じて食事、サービスとてもいいお店ではありますが、気になる点が一つ。

ある従業員の対応の質が悪すぎる。 態度が悪い、四六時中対応がだるそう、仕事効率が悪い、常識が無さすぎる…女性の眼鏡をかけたかなり若そうな従業員が一名とても気になりました。 おそらく仕事がだるいんだろうなーってのが伝わってきます。

まず話し方がとにかく眠そう笑 歩くのものんびり笑 効率なんて言葉は彼女には皆無って感じで、テーブルを片付ける時も席に座って片付けていた。隙があったら休みたいだろうなーって感じですね笑　食器を片付ける効率も悪い、あろうことか食器やゴミをお客様が座る座席に置いて、それを見ながら「あー多分座るな、食器か、ゴミの上に…」と思っていたら案の定ゴミの上に座っていたのを見て呆れ果てました笑 最終的には彼女がセッティングし終えたテーブルを他の従業員の方が手直しをされていました。^^;

食事中のテーブルの済んだ食器を片付ける際もまさかのお客様が座っていた座席にまで入り込んで回収しに行く始末笑　お戻りになられたお客様が信じられない状況に笑い堪えてましたʅ(´⊙ω⊙｀)ʃﾔﾚﾔﾚ笑

お店を利用したい方々が店の外にまで並ぶくらい混んでいた時に見かけた状況だったので余計に気になりました。 仕事がだるい気持ちも大変なのもわかるけど他の従業員の方々が頑張って働いている時に自分だけそんな業務レベルなのはどうなんですかねー。 こちらが勝手にそう感じただけなので実際の真相はわかりませんが…裏の大変な事情があるのかもしれないですけれど。
