Stumbled upon it by accident when we saw a few office workers coming up the stairs. Tried the side dishes as I wanted to eat fewer carbs. The boiled dumplings were yummy as was the cold tofu which had 3 different toppings - kimchi, spring onion and bonito flakes, accompanied by an exquisite sauce. Very friendly owner who speaks a little English and Chinese, there is also a Chinese menu here. The ramen is very flavourful, it is made with a special kind of noodles that are Wakayama's specialty. The mackerel sushi is insanely good, one of the best I have ever eaten, and the wagyu tataki is superb. They also draw their beers from the tap very well, with a great...

Noodles were soft and silky, sushi was fresh and presented beautifully on bamboo, brushed with sauce, and topped with spring onions. They don’t have an English menu but I got the Wakayama ramen. Apparently the broth is supposed to be special but I didn’t find it spectacularly different. Lots of locals here though so it must be good. Slurp!!
