稚内駅前で早朝から食事ができる貴重な食事処。朝定食や魚定食の他、ラーメンなどもあります。朝早い時間はラーメンはまだ仕込み中だったりします。メニューの中で格段にお値段が高いのが、かに丼とかにめしの2000円。前者は卵とじの丼のようです。後者を頂きました。甘じょっぱく煮たカニフレークの上にカニのむき身が乗っています。フレークはちょっと煮詰まった感じでしょっぱい。もう少し控えめの味だと食べやすい。上に乗っているむき身はまぁまぁ美味しいかなと思ったが、ツメの部分がちょっとスカスカの解凍もの。この値段ならもう少ししっかりとしたカニが乗っていると嬉しい。付け合せにパセリ、紅生姜、錦糸卵が乗っているが、これらは彩りのためでしょうか？料理としては余計ですね。昆布の佃煮もついていますが、持ち帰り弁当じゃない場合はアルミカップに入れると安っぽく見えてしまうかも。ベビーホタテの味噌汁は美味しかったです。港町の食堂らしく、とくに愛想はないが、気にはならない。かにメニューは改善されれば稚内駅前名物としてもっ...
