Okonomiyaki Mizune — Restaurant in Yamaguchi

I tend to like the restaurants I go to and this was no exception. There are goldfish and one ornamental carp swimming in a glass topped tank embedded in the floor. The rafters are exposed, and there are some windows, so the atmosphere is pleasant and not claustrophobic. We had saucey grilled soba noodles and mixed 'as you like it' pan fry-up (okonomiyaki). The restaurant offers the choice of using the hot plate embedded in the table or having it cooked in the kitchen and brought to the table on a thick steel plate.
