Nice place run by a retired chef of French cuisine who worked at Okura Hotel in Tokyo but many things can be improved there such as: Let the customer sit first show the menu put nice music not too loud make a fresh coffee.
I went there for a coffee and, during my entrance dealing with my umbrella in a rainy and cold day, the owner started asking if I was there for coffee or food. When I said that is for coffee, he automatically said: “OK, coffee” as if he got the order. When I asked for menu, he replied that there wasn’t any menu. I asked for what kind of coffee was available, he mentioned many types so I got the house blend that, sincerely, it tasted like a not fresh brewed coffee, weak and not good taste for ¥500. Read moreI went here because I wanted to experience a traditional Japanese coffee shop. The owner of the coffee shop is pleasant but the menu is only available in Japanese. I wouldn't mind if the food I got were a Japanese surprise but all the food is European.
The coffee is overpriced, and compared to other restaurants the food is expensive. However, it is very tasty. I think this is probably for tourists who don't like Japanese food.
