We ate breakfast here one morning as it was included with our stay at the connected Citadines Hotel. It's a nice and casual coffeeshop/diner/cafe style restaurant which featured a breakfast buffet. The buffet had a small but sufficient selection of both Japanese and western items which served our breakfast needs. The coffee was particularly good. There's a more extensive menu of food and made-to-order items that I think are available after hotel breakfast service is over and the cafe opens for walk-in traffic from the street entrance. Coffee-kan is a hidden gem in Yokohama! The coffee is rich and flavorful – probably the best I’ve had in the city. Their sandwiches are excellent, with generous portions that leave you fully satisfied. The cheesecake is a must-try – creamy, delicious, and the perfect finish to the meal. Service is horrible! Wanted to sit next to our friends and there was a 4 seat table for us 4 (non reserved) available next to them. What did they do sit us at the other end of the coffee shop. By the way we spoke Japanese so can't explain it by language difficulty. Bad service hence will never ever return again. Also the order took forever to arrive.
