SHANTHI DELI — Restaurant in Yokohama

The food here is really good—I especially love the chicken biryani, it’s one of the best I’ve had! The atmosphere is also nice, and overall everything feels superb.

But there’s one problem: the price difference between dining in and takeout. Eating at the restaurant, the chicken biryani costs around ¥1,100–1,300, which is fair. However, when I asked for takeout, they charged ¥1,700. That surprised me because it’s not delivery—I’m picking it up myself. Takeout should be at least the same price, if not cheaper, since it’s more convenient for both sides.

I really love their biryani and would prefer to take it out often instead of eating in. If the takeout price were the same as the dine-in price, I would come at least 4 to 6 time a month.

I even brought a Japanese friend here, and he loved the food so much. Thank you for serving such delicious biryani—I just hope the takeout pricing can be...

This is the worst indian restaurant i have ever been in japan. The hospitality for customer is 0. The food is very bad. No taste at all. Tastes like we were eating naan with milk. The most ridiculous thing was that half cut naan. So disrespectfully served . They dont even ask for karasa. ( the spicy amount) they just serve what the inexperienced cook cooks.
