20230701 - in short, a kind suggestion for anyone who considers visiting this restaurant - if you’d like to order one more Naan, GOOD LUCK.

I visited this restaurant with my wife and our 2.5 year-old boy. The food is actually average good but unfortunately we had an unforgettable uncomfortable experience in this restaurant.

We ordered 2 lunch sets today (¥840 and ¥900) and meanwhile additionally ordered 2pcs Naan (Naan is as much as you can eat, which is addressed on their menu). Don’t know why but only 1pcs was served to us. Then we reminded the waitress that one more pcs hasn’t been served yet… finally we got the last pcs Naan. What awfully surprised me is that it’s made half size.

We didn’t mention anything about the Naan size. However, the worst thing came at the end. When we finished dining and did the payment, the waitress reminded/suggested us that we should order one more kid lunch set for our 2.5 year-old boy. Come on, just because we made additional order for 2pcs Naan, this restaurant sent such kind suggestion for us?

If the restaurant addressed that every individual needs to order at least one meal set, despite a 2 year-old kid, then I would accept it and feel fine. However, there’s no such texting on the menu. Also, the last one, the cute tiny Naan, made me really feel bad.

Come on, we, 2 adults, made additional order for 2pcs Naan. Is it too much!?

Anyway, how the restaurant behaves is extremely different from what they addressed on the menu, “feel free to order additional Naan or rice for free”. They are actually very sensitive for every single pcs. Be careful if you want...

I had the best experience at Deepjyoti Indian Nepali Restaurant! I’m a huge fan of Nepali food, and this place absolutely nailed it. The momo was perfection, and the lamb curry was so flavorful it took me right back to Nepal. The staff were super friendly and checked on us often without being intrusive.
