Shrimp & Oyster Bar MORE’S Yokohama — Restaurant in Yokohama

Our family headed to the restaurant around 12:30. It appeared quite empty, but the waiter informed us that we'd have to wait for over an hour to be seated. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford to wait due to our tight schedule, so we decided to leave.

Later in the evening, at around 7:00 PM, we gave the restaurant another shot. Surprisingly, the same employee informed us that there were no available seats until 9:00 PM. Despite the restaurant still looking quite empty, we couldn't understand why we weren't able to get in. Oddly enough, there were no other people waiting for a seat either, at least not listed at the door. The restaurant staff didn't seem too occupied either, as they were seen casually chatting and using their phones, giving off the impression of being busy.

Honestly, it was the most disappointing experience I've ever...

The service at your restaurant was amazing, and the food tasted great. However, after eating the oysters this afternoon, I vomited and experienced diarrhea about 1.5 hours after my meal. Fortunately, the sickness passed after I vomited. I had only eaten bread at 9 a.m., so I am certain that my illness was caused by the oysters.

I have always loved this restaurant, but paying over 4,000 yen and ending up sick was very disappointing. I think it might be important to be careful with the oysters. In fact, I am not 100% sure but I suspect it was the cooked oysters that caused the problem, as I felt a little unwell after eating them.

We ate here for the all-you-can-eat program. Between two people we sucked down 52 oysters in total!

Oysters from Hyogo Aki were absolutely divine as were the Hiroshima ones.

We enjoyed them raw, boiled, steamed and fried . The sea urchin topped baked oysters were our favorites.

The Sauvignon Blanc was affordable and went perfectly...
