Masaru Noodles — Restaurant in Yokosuka

Thursday lunchtime, quite a few customers already there. We had no wait but the ones after us did. Stylish ramen! Both of our ramen soups were very light with a “natural” fish-based taste, so I figured maybe they’re MSG-free. Upon reading some reviews online, I found some had written that they indeed are, though I can’t be positive since I didn’t see it written anywhere in the shop. Super flavorful miso ramen with fish soup base here at Masaru. I don’t particularly like Tonkotsu, so when store front has sign saying no Tonkotsu, I was intrigued to try this place. It’s across the alleyway from Piacere Italian place. Shop is very clean and larger than expected inside. Ticket machine operated so bring Yen.

無科調・自家製麺・煮干しラーメンが売りの店。駐車場は、店の前に2台位置けるスペースがある。店内へはいると、食券機がなく、年配の女性店員に『好きな席をどうぞ』と、声をかけられる。 平日の12時30分過ぎなのに、先客が0人だった(;´д｀) 評価も高く煮干しラーメンが売りだったようなので、煮干しラーメンを食べるつもりでいたが、年配の女性店員は、私が地元人だと思ったのか、月替わり商品を薦めてきた(;´д｀) ランチでお得な日替わりセット800円(税込)を、注文🎵日替りは、好きなラーメン(普通盛)と茶碗一杯の日替わりご飯が付いてくる。今日は、豚丼で、ラーメンは煮干しラーメンをチョイスした。 約５分過ぎくらいに、ラーメン登場Σ(･ω･ﾉ)ﾉ まずは、スープを一口🎵 端麗クリアなスッキリタイプ。醤油の香りと味が引き立った、甘ジョッパイ味付けで余り煮干し感はない。麺は、自家製中太ストレート麺で、ツルツルと喉ごしが良く程好い食感が印象的だった。スープの絡み具合は今一つで、麺がやや強い感じだった。トッピングは、海苔が一番手前に来ていて、チャーシューが隠れてしまう珍しい盛り付けだった。チャーシューは、バラ肉でやや甘めの味付け、シナチクは柔らかめの食感、半玉子はしっかり煮込んだタイプ。 セットの豚丼は、これ豚丼？？って感じだった。ご飯の上に、玉ねぎと豚肉の炒めたのが乗っていた。豚丼とは程遠い内容だった(;´д｀) 総評的には、それぞれ良いところがあるが、小さくまとまってしまい特筆するところがなかった。ランチは、麺の大盛無料はなく、お得なセットを販売。 夜はラーメンも販売するようだが、居酒屋になるようだ。何となくだが、片手間感があり全体的に中途半端に感じた。家系ラーメンが幅を効かせているなか、淡麗系ラーメンで勝負しているので、もっと頑張...
