Ramen Tengoku — Restaurant in Yufu

Amazing family run ramen restaurant just off the main street in Yufuin. Just happened to notice a sign for it with some pretty reasonable prices (most ramen are less than 600 yen for a large bowl). We each ordered a different version of the shoyu ramen and both were delicious. Simple, light with excellent fatty pork chashu. Unbeatable price for the quality, especially when just behind this shop on the main street you can't get much for 600 yen. Gyoza was also amazing, almost tasted like they melt in your mouth. 店員さんの対応も温かくて、旅先でこういうお店に出会えると嬉しくなります。

駅周辺には、量が少なかったり、高値設定だったりするお店も多い中で、ここは良心的な価格と安心できる味。昭和の雰囲気を思い出すような、でも古くさくはない、そんなラーメンです。

味のバリエーションが多いのも魅力的で、焼飯もとても美味しかった！ また訪れたいお店です。
