Worst shop in Japan

We bought some sweets from them today and the old male shop assistant probably the shop manager, was not empathetic and not helpful. He never asked if we wanted a bag provided that I am a Japanese speaker. It is common for shops like this to provide containers for costumers. We don’t mind paying for the packaging anyways. After we paid for the sweets and we realized that no packaging is provided, we asked for a bag and then the old male shop assistant asked us to pay 10 yen only in cash for the bag. He carried a happy look when we did not have the cash as if he had tricked us. At last we had to put the sweets in our coats’ pockets. What a thoughtful shop!! Horrible!! If this shop cannot provide a container for their products, would it be sensible for the shop assistants to ask their customers to BUY a container? We are frequent visitors to Japan for the last 30 years and this is the only shop we found having the worst service in the world. Shameful. Don’t bother. Avoid.

I really did not like the place!!!

After I finished the payment, when i asked for a bag, the shop assistance requested for 10 yen for the bag. I did not have coins but other payment methods were not allowed except cash. So i had to carry them in my own pockets of my clothes. I did not expect much but at least a reminder b4 the first payment if i had to pay for the bag, unless it was a prank from the assistance (probably the shop manager). Also I was totally unhappy to see a smily face from the assistance as if i was tricked.
