The food was good but the staff had a bad attitude. Restaurant closes at 3:30pm and the lady at the counter would not serve anyone anything, even hot drinks beyond 3:00 pm. If last orders are in at 3:00pm and you won’t even serve beyond then, you should list that time as closing instead of 3:30pm. The lady complained that she wouldn’t work for nothing. The time it would have spent her to serve those customers a hot drink may not have been paid work, but now those unhappy customers will report back to others their negative experience. We did get served for the record as we arrived before 3:00pm, these are all just things I witnessed. We were also rushed out near to closing time. I wouldn’t return here again. This place serves a very good cooked breakfast; small or large. Lately I've been having scrambled egg instead of fried. No problem. In fact I've had a few things lately that were off menu and that wasn't a problem at all. Really good customer service. Bespoke, you could say. More often than not I have pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. Not terribly healthy but the fruit makes it seem healthier than a bacon roll. I prefer to sit on the high stool so I can gaze out onto the street of gorey villiage. I don't get much time for gazing though; food is served very quickly from ordering.
