My friend lives on the island and was raving about this place so we stopped this morning for breakfast before I was due to fly back. We arrived 8.50am. I was absolutely starving and looking forward to something delicious, I'm a savoury toothed person not sweet.
The woman working didn't say hello as we entered, not a deal breaker but would have been nice or at least a smile. We waited and waited and waited and then I began to get anxious about making the plane so we both said to one another that we now had no time to get a sandwich. The lady works at a snails pace and for a Saturday that will lose you customers. I had to grab and go, water and a doughnut. I think what I was most disappointed at was her lack of manners, customer service or awareness. This little family run business in Gorey is by far the nicest place we visited with the best coffee in Jersey.
We had two lattes that both tasted amazing. Very friendly staff that interacted with our 3 year asking her what she wanted , “babycino” of course.
A small spot with few spots to sit inside but very clean and well presented with seasonal themes (pumpkins everywhere)
Whenever we come back to Jersey we will be visiting here for a Coffee and next time some delicious...
