We discovered this charming little café during a week-long holiday in Jersey. We ordered a cappuccino and a scone—pronounced to rhyme with phone, not gone! Let me just say, this was hands down the best scone I’ve had in my 55 years on this planet! Do yourself a favour and drop by this delightful coffee shop. They serve incredible scones, excellent coffee, and a whole range of other treats. Be sure to say hello to Andy, the owner—an absolute legend. — G.B.

Really beautiful little coffee shop but very disappointed to be told that we were unable to eat our ice cream inside, despite the cafe being empty. As it’s very hot outside it would have been nice to have some brief reprieve from the sun. Seems at £3 per ice cream is not enough to spend to be allowed inside to eat it for 15 minutes. Rude man. See Tripadvisor for accurate reflections of this place.

This coffee shop has a real quirky interior that compliments it's surroundings. The waffles are to die for and the ice cream selection is great. I couldn't make my mind up which ice cream to take away but ended up getting the biscoff ice cream with biscoff sauce. The member of staff serving me was very friendly and the place was exceptionally clean.

Tried to enter this coffee shop at 1.30pm to be told "we can't accommodate prams". The entire place was empty except for one table of 4 people and the staff member said the reason they can't have prams is because they get "quite busy". We were there at peak lunch time so questioned when they expected to get busy and the response was that coach loads of people can arrive at anytime.

Went over the road to an extremely popular and busy cafe and were accommodated immediately!

In response to owner's response: The pram wouldn't have blocked a fire escape just as it didn't in the cafe opposite you that has one entrance and exit and you didn't have anyone else in there. I'm guessing from your sarcastic reply to this review that you would prefer to have fewer...

Rude checkout staff and overpriced food

Edit to respond to owner's reply: No I didn't order coffee nor was I asked to leave, so you have your wires crossed there. This was a few months ago - I ordered an ice cream and was only served by the exterior window, so didn't enter the premises.

It's quite telling about your professionalism how you have responded to every negative review on here with hostility and/or eyeroll emojis. I gave you two stars initially but I'm revising it to one, since I've just received another serving of the rudeness that compelled me to write a review in the...

Poor service, drinks and general customer service.

The manager was clearly put out by seating our fairly large group even though it was quiet.

The mocha was effectively warm milk with chocolate sludge in the bottom.

The owner/manager even ran out of the café to confront one of our group after she used the loo, despite asking a separate staff member and the fact we bought drinks.

What it more this was not the first time the welcome had been...
