Tried to enter this coffee shop at 1.30pm to be told "we can't accommodate prams". The entire place was empty except for one table of 4 people and the staff member said the reason they can't have prams is because they get "quite busy". We were there at peak lunch time so questioned when they expected to get busy and the response was that coach loads of people can arrive at anytime.
Went over the road to an extremely popular and busy cafe and were accommodated immediately!
In response to owner's response: The pram wouldn't have blocked a fire escape just as it didn't in the cafe opposite you that has one entrance and exit and you didn't have anyone else in there. I'm guessing from your sarcastic reply to this review that you would prefer to have fewer...

Edit to respond to owner's reply: No I didn't order coffee nor was I asked to leave, so you have your wires crossed there. This was a few months ago - I ordered an ice cream and was only served by the exterior window, so didn't enter the premises.

The manager was clearly put out by seating our fairly large group even though it was quiet.
The mocha was effectively warm milk with chocolate sludge in the bottom.
The owner/manager even ran out of the café to confront one of our group after she used the loo, despite asking a separate staff member and the fact we bought drinks.
