Ammani Restaurant — Restaurant in Amman

My colleagues and I recently attended a company iftar (Ramadan Iftar) at Ammani Restaurant on April 4th, and the majority of us were quite let down by the overall experience. As a food enthusiast who enjoys discovering new dining spots, I had high hopes for Ammani, but regrettably, our visit fell short of expectations.

Atmosphere: Upon arrival, both my colleagues and I immediately observed that the table arrangements were disorganized and uneven. Some of the tableware was damaged, and there was no consistency among the pieces. The chairs were not only uncomfortable but the tables were too low, which detracted from the overall dining experience.

Cuisine: The food quality was mediocre, and most of us struggled to find any dish worth recommending. The flavors were uninspiring, and the overall experience left us unfulfilled. This was particularly disheartening during such an important event like iftar.

Customer Service: Although the staff were amiable and made efforts to be helpful, it was clear that they were inexperienced in serving customers. They appeared uncertain about how to properly handle and serve dishes, causing the dining experience to feel disjointed.

In conclusion, the majority of my colleagues and I found our experience at Ammani Restaurant to be underwhelming. The substandard food quality, the negligence in table presentation, and the untrained service left a negative impression that prevents us from endorsing this establishment. There are numerous other Middle Eastern restaurants that offer superior dining experiences, and we would advise potential customers to consider those...

First of all no parking spots you have to give your car to valet service tbh i dont like to give my car away unless iam going to an hotel its understandable .

Second the menu is paper copied i mean you gotta have a better menu or atleast make it disposable not to have the waiter come back for them .

Third the place is cozy and nice but its under staffed they need better service its so slow on busy days

4th the presentation of the food was so bad , why iam getting my food in a cooking pan ??! Not they were hot or anything was cold , stone cold

5th tea pot came 10 mints before food that i had to season it my self since its not used in cooking i guess and it was way way below my expectations or avrg or anything did not taste good at all the only thing was the hummos

6th the cash point can be edited by choice i mean you can make an item on spot even if its not on the system i had an item with strange name (arabic breakfast 3-4 jds next to it ) and "khoudra with 3 jds i guess next to it " on the bill didnt wna thro it all i dont wna know what it was for i ordered hummos , tomato with beef , foul and potato with eggs and a tea pot also , the bill came almost 20 jds i put an exact 20 there just wna get out and forget what happend

7th i have to give credit to the bread maker its so light and fluffy the only good thing for me in that place

The most terrible experience, very bad service , we arrived it took them 20 mins to prepare the table and we called before going to ask if there are any tables and to prepare one for us , the table was very dirty we cleaned it ourselves it was black , they took more than 30 mins to take our order , they didn’t put any plates for us to eat nor any spoons and forks ,we went and got the plates ourselves (I’m still waiting for my plate) after half the food was done , any food plate came without any utensils to put with , if we want anything we have to look for the service to tell them what we want , as for the tea we got it by ourselves they got us the sugar without a spoon to stir with , anything we asked for it took them more than 15 mins to bring it , as for when we asked for the bill they didn’t bring it to us we got frustrated and went to the cash and paid .
