You dont get what you pay for! We were a table of 4 and paid 400jds+. Food was ok, my husband had the fillet mignon with mashroom and he literally got half a mashroom on the plate!! My salmon was extremely overcooked and dry, I had to order a sauce of some kind and they brought me something that tasted like mustard! They didnt even offer to redo it! We ordered a ratatouille dish, so you expect a french 5 starts restaurant to bring it perfect, they brought me zuccini cubes with tomato sauce! Omg They lost me there, thats when I made the decision to never ever go back there again. We went there when there was quarantine at 12am, so by 10:30 they started roaming around our table, turning lights off and on, closing doors!!! Who does that in a 5 stars restaurant, have the decency to come and politely remind us that we need to be out of the place by 11. Then the cherry on top was when we started hearing breaking glass and a loud argument coming out from the kitchen!!
If you are looking for a 5 stars french experience and food this is definitely not the place. You feel so sad and unsatisfied after paying such a large bill for such...

The ambiance of the restaurant was elegant and upscale, matching the hotel's reputation. However, one aspect that left much to be desired was the speed of service. Even the cold appetizers, such as salads, took an unusually long time to be brought to the table, which dampened the overall dining experience.
On a positive note, the Steak Frites I ordered was a true delight. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and packed with flavor. Paired with the crispy and seasoned fries, it was an absolute winner. The dish showcased the culinary prowess of the kitchen, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Capitale.
While the food itself was satisfactory, the slow service was a significant drawback. However, if you have the patience to wait for your order, the Steak Frites alone makes it...
Read moreTruly one of Amman’s best French restaurants. The decor is very elegant but homey, the lavender wall on the entrance gives you south of France vibes and the non smoking area is highly appreciated. The terrace area has great views of Amman and make sure to visit the powder room as it is so elegant which makes great opportunity for selfies ;)
Food is on point, from the onion soup, cheese boards, decedent appetizers to hearty main courses like the Burger and Dover sole. The desert menu is mouth watering as well, my favorite was the chocolate tart. Drinks menu is varied and you’ll find a variety of selected items.
The cherry on the top at this place is the amazing staff. So friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable and will make sure you leave with a big smile...
