I've been here multiple times. The atmosphere is wonderful – quiet, peaceful, and full of tranquility by the park. Especially on nice days, sitting on the terrace is truly delightful.

There's something interesting about the food and desserts here. This restaurant might serve the most delicious chicken you can find in Almaty, and their burgers are also quite tasty plus their desserts are fresh. They have an extensive breakfast menu. However, here’s the catch: their pizza is terrible. I really can’t understand why. They need to make a decision—if they can’t make pizza well, they should remove it from the menu. Even fast-food pizza is better than theirs.

Another thing to note: as is typical in Almaty, your order might arrive wrong or not as you requested. Also, keep in mind that they seem to have only one English-speaking waiter. But thankfully they have English menu 👍

When it comes to prices, they’re a bit more expensive compared to similar places. Another annoying detail: while the standard service charge in the country is 10%, here it’s 15%. Why?

This restaurant has a prime location, and they did a much better job with it than the ridiculous-looking giant restaurant next to it. I like how they used the little space they have and placed the patio on the roof. Staying on both the main floor and the roof patio, I somewhat feel like each of them fits a particular occasion better – the main floor is good for the restaurant atmosphere, and the patio has a bar vibe and is better for drinks, live music, hookah, etc. With time, the menu keeps on expanding, which is not always a good thing, but so far kitchen is doing a decent job. Surprisingly quite a few Scandinavian dishes are on the menu. My only complaint is that beef Carpaccio came with Parmesan cheese, but it is the wrong kind of Parmesan and not the one that goes on Carpaccio, and it was cut way too thick. Also, our waiter was great. Very helpful and responsive. He went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Kudos to him. The prices are very reasonable. 🇬🇧 English: Recently, I visited a restaurant in Almaty and ordered a shisha. Unfortunately, I accidentally broke it when returning it. I immediately apologized and paid the 40,000 tenge compensation. At that moment, I overheard the Russian waiter next to me saying to the other waiters: "I told you I wouldn't sell him a shisha." Hearing this was extremely hurtful and judgmental. Why did he have such a preconceived attitude toward me? I paid both for the shisha and for the damage.
