Oro Restaurant & Lounge — Restaurant in Nairobi

This place is one of the worst restaurants we've ever visited. Taken into account the high bill, it is probable the worst value-for-money I've ever got.

Went there for dinner, took them 1.5 hours (there were literally 2 other guests) to come up with a pizza that looked suspiciously like a frozen pizza and tasted even worse. Was missing half of the promised ingredients (staff indicated that they had problems with supplier, but only when we were paying). Poached egg meal salad was a hard boiled egg salad and definitely not enough for a full meal. Nachos with cheese was a melted pot of cheese without nachos.

Really, there are 100s of better places in Nairobi and they deserve your hard earned money way, way more...

I had a late dinner here on Friday night. While the decor is nothing special, the view out the windows is really nice. I ordered the potato leek soup and the beef medallions. The soup was nice, served at a good temperature, and had a few splashes of cream in it. The medallions were good and with three on the plate, there was plenty to eat. There was a slightly odd flavor to the mushroom sauce, but it was still enjoyable and worked well with the beef. The only slight downside was one of the medallions was tougher than I expected. The flavor of the beef overall was good if not outstanding and helped by the mushroom sauce. The vegetables were very good and paired well...

This is a very chilled out club in Kilimani. The fact that it's a rooftop club makes it even more alluring. You get excellent service as well as great views of the city... The sunsets are really great and you get a front row seat as it slowly sets behind Ngong Hills. It's definitely a...
