Wow! Where do I start. What a dreadful experience. I went here at the end of a wonderful trip to Kosovo where I experienced the kindest hospitality and quality from every person I met and every restaurant/hotel I visited. I chose this place based on all the favourable reviews others had posted. We weren't that hungry but as soon as we sat down the waiter was pushing us to get the most expensive thing on the menu. As soon as he realised we weren't ordering that he became very cold. He brought our drinks and then left us for at least 20 minutes, whilst being very attentive to everyone he had tricked into buying the most expensive items. Once we eventually did order, the food didn't take that long to arrive but some dishes were not what we had ordered, some items of food (French fries for example) looked and tasted like they were either left over from another person or they had been cooked a week before and left in an ash tray. Every dish that should have been hot was stone cold and had terrible quality. I would have complained but the waiter just completely ignored us for the entire meal. We would have ordered more drinks but it was impossible. After we were finished we waited for at least 30 minutes and had to virtually beg another waiter 3 times for the bill before finally being allowed to leave. Oh not before the gangster in question asked us why he wasn't getting a tip. Obscene! Please take my advice and stay away from this tourist trap and head to hani I Vjeta across the bridge instead. Those people are kind and will not try...
Read moreIts the number 1 tourist trap right here, so plesse stay away. My dad got lured here by the smell as he thought he smelled an amazing grill restaurants but oh boy he got it wrong. The man sent us to the worst restaurant I have been to the whole summer.
So we walk inside the restaurant and just halfway through I thought we had been sent through a time travel portal to Turkey. It was like being at the worst part in Turkey.
So we get settled and start to order. The waiter was the most arrogant turkalike ever. So while we are about to order the electricity goes off and on like 7 times (????), but we manage to order.
When we receive the food its the most pleskavice ever. Looked like dog food, it was undercooked and the meat in general tasted like a dogs leg. My brother and I couldnt even eat it so we just ate bread and salad for the rest of the evening. Paid for meat but ate salad. Me myself tasted some of the meat but got a bad belly after few hours and had problems on top of the Kalaja in Prizren because of the bad food.
Also there were like 6 turkish guys in costums just screaming like strutser and tried making some sort of a show or whatevef, which was total inapropriete.
Please just stay away and...
Read moreWe tried this restaurant twice, the first time was nothing special and the second time was even worse. We were there on a sunday, the place was super crowded. We ordered kebabs and doners with ayran. The meat was super rubbery, the fries were not fresh, the side salads were plain without ANY seasoning and the ayran was too watered down and tasteless. The funny part is that we had a friend with us who normally has a pretty good appetite, he could not finish his plate and said "that's the first time it happens to me". It was not just not worth it. A waste of money. The service was super bad, we were not even served napkins or tissues or anything. Tables around us were messy and dirty. It is a very big place with multiple dining areas, and it was almost full, but that should not mean to have their food quality and service compromised. Toilets were also a mess to say the least..without any toilet paper. When you know you have that amount of people, there should be regular toilet cleaning and toilet paper refilling, spray and freshners alone won't do it. In fact it made it more...
