Hotel Prizreni — Hotel in The plateau of Dukagjin

Stayed here for one night with a friend in October 2019.||||Google maps got us close to the hotel and then we were able to see the sign - it’s across the bridge from the main part of the town and up the hill towards the fortress. We parked and walked up with our cases and the hotel then showed us where we could leave our car. ||||Check-in was swift and we were given a twin room on the very top floor. The hotel is on a hill and has several floors - it reminded us of a Swiss or Austrian ski lodge. There’s no lift but they can help you with your bags if needed. ||||Our room had two single twin beds with very new furnishings; was a wardrobe, safe, bedside cabinets with lamps and plug sockets by the beds, desk and chair, flat screen TV with a good selection of channels. We slept well and it’s worth bearing in mind that Prizren has 40 mosques so you may want to bring some earplugs if you want to miss the early call to prayer. ||||The bathroom was a good size and was again nice and modern. The shower was large, had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The towels were all clean and fluffy. ||||Breakfast was down in the bottom floor. It would suit vegetarians as there was no meat which was fine for us. Omelette, French toast and cheese pancakes, plus boiled eggs were available as warm food. There was also the usual cold veg selection of tomatoes, cucumber etc and pancakes, muffins, cereals, jam and honey, plus fresh bread to toast. Coffee was made fresh or there was tea, plus water, blueberry and orange juices. ||||The WiFi had good signal but the speed was sometimes a little bit slow. Location wise, the hotel is in a great place - you’re about 2 minutes from the main mosque and there are plenty of restaurants all around. It’s a 10 minute walk uphill to the fortress too. ||||Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel however my friend enjoyed it more. It’s a great value hotel, in a great location with friendly staff. The location is perfect, the general conditions are very good for the price we payed. It has a vintage style nicely combined with modern details. We took room 204, i would have liked it to be a little bit more spacious. The roof window looking at the sky, was a thing I loved about the room. The staff was very polite and kind, always wearing a smile during our stay. The breakfast was very delicious and good quality...

The atmosphere was amazing, cosy and made you feel like home.The rolm was warm, cosy and offered everything you could ask for. The view from the balcony was breathtaking.||The Hotel Prizren's staff was too polite and always available to serve us.
