Konak nargile — Restaurant in The plateau of Dukagjin

A central delight in the heart of the old town. My friends and I shared a decent meal, which was a mix of grills, pizza, and mezze mix. All food was swiftly served as we watched the sunset from the rooftop terrace.

We had water and mojitos, which were not the strongest nor cheapest, but they did come with a nice little Kosovo flag which was nice touch.

Clearly, there has been a shift in quality with a drive for better reviews quite evident. This place is highly recommended as a tourist with a clear menu and friendly staff. One thing I felt bad about was one of the waiters was serving our table despite it not being in his service area, I appreciated that he didn't move us as we had a nice spot but his colleague eventually showed and completed our service, but I think his colleague got our tip which seemed unfair.. maybe something for the restaurant to consider for the staff.

Beautiful location, but disappointing service policy

The restaurant has a truly beautiful setting with a great view, and we were initially excited to relax and enjoy a drink. After we sat down and explained that we were only interested in drinks, the waiter still insisted we check the food menu.

When we finally ordered our drinks, we were informed that drinks could only be served if we also ordered food — something that wasn’t mentioned earlier. The only alternative offered were a few cocktails, which didn’t suit our preferences.

Staff: 10/10 Fast, professional and courteous. If they ever make a mistake, they fix it before I realized.

Atmosphere: 10/10 Lovely decor, and comfortable setting. From street level dining, to rooftop seating makes an amazing photo opportunities.

Busy: 6/10 Although it can get busy, this place is huge, with 4 floors of seating, you'll never feel crowded

Value: 10/10 A little bit pricey, but we'll worth it. They could improve their Turkish coffee, it seems like they put too much coffee in the water and it never really settles.
