I stayed here for 2 nights. Great value. It is a very good location in the heart of the old town. Although there are 4 mosques nearby, you cannot hear the prayers once the door is closed.
The staff were always friendly and had a smile and the owner was always checking in to make sure things were ok.
The room was on the 3rd floor (USA; 2nd floor EU) and only stairs. The room was a good size and clean and well appointed. There was a fridge but I couldn’t get it to plug in. No water provided, but there is a market around the corner.
Bathroom was small but well appointed. Decent amount of room for toiletries. They provide bar soap, shampoo, body wash. Towels also provided. Lots of hot water and good water pressure.
The breakfast only starts at 9 am. So if you have early plans, you may need to adjust. The breakfast is good and is veggies, omelette, and homemade bread rolls with jam. Tea/coffee as well.
Downsides:
the parking situation. The hotel advertises as having parking, but it does not. You have to park at a local lot and pay. It was confusing on arrival as the streets are narrow and you can’t really park and go ask hotel. I parked with the one guy who claimed he had the “deal” and it was 10 euros/night instead of 1 euro/hr.
WiFi was really hit or miss in the room. Worked fine downstairs, but I prefer to work in my room and not...
Read moreWe were actually planning on eating at another restaurant but we are incredibly happy the first place didn’t work out. This place was fantastic. The owner was an amazing host to us. We ate here during Ramadan and arrived a bit later than everyone who was already finishing up their dinner. The owner happily invited us in even though there were no tables available and quickly put a table together for us anyways and served us a traditional meal from this region in Kosovo for breaking fast. The food itself was delicious and more than enough for the two of us. The inside has been decorated beautifully and with a welcoming and cozy setting. If you are looking for some of the best traditional Kosovan food in Prizren then this is a wonderful choice. We...
Read moreCame here after wife found on TripAdvisor. We are vegan, so choices are limited. We had limited euro cash, so worried about having enough. We ended up with the clay pot vegetables (with lots of free bread) and a couple of beers. The staff was friendly, spoke English. The atmosphere was very nicely traditionally decorated, playing good music. When our vegetables arrived, they were very hot for a while. I ended up stirring occasionally and dipping chunks of bread in the sauce until it cooled down a bit. Bottom line, the meal was fantastic! I can't speak to the negative meat comments, but for us it was unforgettable=awesome! (and...
