Avanti palace is a fine dining multi-cuisine restaurant, located in Al Fayez complex in the hearts of Salmiya, which has good parking space right in the front and at the back of the complex.

You can identify the restaurant's entrance by a man with big mustache in a Indian traditional attire greeting and welcoming the guest and even escorting to the stairs of the restaurant!

We went around 10pm on Saturday night and we immediately got a private cabin! The ambience of the place was beautiful and very cozy!

We were immediately served with complimentary delicious papad with chutneys. We were craving Biryani and that's what we ordered! We asked the waiter to make a blend between hyderabadi biryani and chicken tikka biryani and to our surprise he agreed to it and brought us one of the best biryanis we have ever had in any of the restaurants in Kuwait.

The smell, the texture, the taste, the color and the blend between the two biryanis was amazing! It reminded me of the biryanis I used to have in hyderabad!

Even the quantity was good enough for two people! The gravy served with biryani tasted good too, and it blended well with the biryani!

We also ordered sweet lassi which turned out to be amazing aswell

All in all- highly recommended Good food Good...

We had gone today to Avanti after a very long time. Almost after 5-6 years. We experienced a not so good service and the food taste also has reached a low point. We had ordered Butter chicken, Chicken Manchurian, Chicken Hyderababdi in our main course and felt let down by the Chef. The Butter Nans and Garlic Nans also were chewy. Even we felt that a starter as simple as Harabhara Kabab was not able to satisfy our taste buds. Apart from that, other starters and Soups we ordered were also not able to win our hearts. Out of all, my order of Mango Lassi was very good. Wanted to order other rice dishes and sweets after food but did not venture into the same. We miss the old Avanti experience.
