Calicut Live — Restaurant in Salmiya

The first visit and I don’t have words “This was an experience I awaited since day 1 of my landing in Kuwait in 2015 from a Keralite Restuarant. I found it today in 2018.

If they were located in a ground floor, they would have wiped competition in a flick. From the time you enter the Restuarant, the importance that each one in their staff makes you feel a king at their house. Hats off to the training given to their staff and above it the staff selection. Each and every one of them without exception made sure you are present in their welcome gesture.

Next to the food ; I shouldn’t have started with such comments if the food was a compromise. God bless their chef, he has magic in his Keralite hands. Simply “wow” comment at its highest order. I just did not expect it coming.

Their Bamboo chicken Biryani is a wholesome treat, so authentic and so taste driven. I do have a habit of sweating when I can’t express how much I enjoy some foods (not out of the heat but pleasure at the taste buds) and this time I did. Extremely tasty was their Biryani and then comes their so different Nei Payasam with ice-cream ; what a combination !!! It was lip smacking good

My malayalees, you miss it in Kuwait if you miss this place. Try once and you will keep...

Had good customer service and stuffs when they started. Now they don't even greet us when we walk in or even say a thank you when we leave. They will say all these if the owner is there. The staffs have the attitude of "come and eat if you want". I should be giving one star, but then the food was really good the first time when we went there and during our last two visit there, it was not at all good.

We were vegetarian when we went there first. We had Paneer Mango curry, Veg Malabari curry, Gobi Machirian dry, Wheat Porotta and juice. Everything was finger licking good. We ordered extra porotta and curry, all those were really good. The veg curries are inspired from Kerala style curries.

But when we went the after that it was a total disappointment. The non veg dishes we ordered were not at all good. Same happened...
