Beit Dickson — Restaurant in Salmiya

We had high expectations upon ordering from Bait Dickson... but sadly... much of our excitement was dashed....

Let's start on a good note... the mitchbous chicken was good... tender chicken... appropriate flavors... went downhill from there though... the jareesh was ok even though there was no meat at all... the gaboot has meat but it was very tough, impossible to eat and had a strange flavor.

The margoog dough was over cooked so that it all had disintegrated into the soup and again... tough meat.

The harisa was a total disaster, particularly because there was no meat in it at all that could be discerned, had no flavor, and... they had put the sugar and cinnamon before packing.... please people put it in a separate container... Finally the gaymaat... they are supposed to be crunchy... not soggy, the sheera tasted like vanilla not saffron and no rose water flavor at all... .. gaymaat do not have vanilla in them... also the dough was sickeningly sweet from over soaking in the sheera....

All in all... honestly extremely disappointing... don't waste your...

I recently placed an order from this restaurant through the Keeta app. I specifically ordered Chicken Majbous, but instead, they delivered Chicken Biryani. Right after receiving the wrong order, I immediately contacted Keeta customer service to report the issue. They assured me that the restaurant would exchange the food shortly.

However, even after waiting for almost two hours, there was no response or action from either the restaurant or the delivery team. During this time, I made several follow-up calls, but no one provided a proper update or solution.

To make things worse, the person who finally called from the restaurant behaved very rudely and unprofessionally. There was no apology or effort to fix their mistake. This kind of customer service is completely unacceptable.

Overall, my experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing — wrong order, poor communication, and very bad attitude from the staff. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Please don’t waste your money...

The food was simply delicious. The place is located on the mezzanine floor and the interior design mimics an old rustic homely look. Wooden decor with memorabilia of bygone days. I tried their mixed grill, lamb chops, chicken noodle soup and kibbeh. Of all the items, the lamb chops were super delicious and I can't wait to go back to try them again. Rest of the food was great too. Service is quick and efficient. This restaurant is going to be in my favorite list.A very traditional Kuwaiti atmosphere and a huge variety of food make you live a great experience. Mix Grill and Majboos are always my favorite.

Wonderful service and hospitable. Everything was beautifully prepared and delicious! A must-visit if you want Kuwaiti Traditional cuisine.

The prices are very reasonable...!
