Dolce Vita - Bishkek Park — Restaurant in Bishkek City

Waited close to 45 minutes for one plate of farfalle carbonara (which tasted good, I give them credit).

Staff does not speak English either, not even a tiny bit.

Owner blames delay on many takeaway orders and does not apologize sincerely, just "many orders takeaway...sorry." and when I said I've been waiting 35 minutes, she says "no, my computer says 30 minutes." WHAT!?

Then I complain a 2nd time, the owner tries to defuse the situation by giving me a free cappuccino.

The kitchen needs to improve efficiency, serve customers in the restaurant too not just takeaway customers. I really wish I didn't come here and it's my fault not speaking Russian. If I knew there were 3 chefs and no organization in place, I never would've sat and ordered food.

My suggestion for good Italian food in Bishkek would be Casa Italia just up the road next to Ramada Hotel - food was good, quick service, English speaking and friendly customer service. They had an event happening at the same time I went to eat (8 Feb 2024), and I still got my meal...

Cozy Spot for a Pizza Fix

We ordered a caprese salad, a stracciatella pizza, and a tuna and onion pizza. The pizza was good—not exactly Italian style (I’m quite picky after living in Rome), but satisfying if you’re craving pizza. The base is thin with a nice crust, and while the mozzarella tastes a bit different from the Italian version, it’s still good. I appreciated that they also provide olive oil and Modena vinegar.

For two people, including a beer and a pot of tea, we paid 2,553 KGS.

The restaurant has cozy vibes and plenty of seating with no wait time. Service was good—the waiter was very nice, spoke good English, and provided us with an English menu.

Great food, fresh pasta, most food taste authentic, the wine selection isnt much but we enjoyed our dinner here. Atmosphere was just right, we sat inside with the kids, server Anara was amazing! She attended to all our needs, kept checking on our orders and Oksana (manager/owner not too sure) she was hands on and very helpful. We ordered teh night before to bring some food for the kids for the flight and they prepared exactly as requested. Service was prompt, all in all we LOVE this place & the Food :) (good vegan...
