Caffeine LV — Restaurant in Riga

The coffee can be inconsistent at times (although its like that in most Caffeines). The service can sometimes be satisfying and nice, and at other times they can be a little cold towards you. And personally, i don’t always ask this but its a little wasteful of them to have their cold drinks in plastic cups if the customer is going to drink at the spot (if they mention it). I’ve had rare occasions where the cold drinks are poured in a glass, which i prefer a little more since plastic kind of makes me anxious. This certain Caffeine is one of the better ones though for me (despite rating 3 stars, i find that a pretty standard and solid rating actually), so i usually go to this one since it is a little closer as well. My favorites in general is Frappe with a nut syrup, caramel macchiato (although too sweet fir my tastes, sometimes they nail it though for me) and the normal flat white. I’ve tried other ones but these are some i usually go for. I’m more of a mocha-person, but the mochas they serve are usually, for some reason, poured their take-away cups, even if i mention i’m going to drink it on the spot like i usually do. the mochas are kind of meh. Overall, the interior is also actually quite nice for my likings, although there are a few tables that wiggle. I’d say Caffeine’s a good place for young people, i often see people coming there with their laptops, or really a good place to hang out and talk to friends. The place does its job, so its good enough for me. The coffee they serve in this specific area i have never really had a problem with, except for the cup thing i mentioned. Barista ruined experience. I rarely post a negative review. The barista woman who is almost always in this place treated me less than a human. What happend to a chill coffee shop? I was standing in the wrong place, she just started yelling at me "ne ne ne!" .. I had never met her before; and when I returned she recalled the incident saying that I was disturbing another customer by standing and interfering with her preparation of the customer's coffee. The problem is, on that day all the customers were peacefully sitting in separate tables happily working. She maybe had a bad day, but she doubled down on it the next day. I used to like this place but yesterday the wsitrewa ripped me off by charging me 2,30 euro for a double espresso while the regular price in any caffeine bar in Riga is 1,85 euro: when I told the waitress not to overcharge me, she RUDELY replied: a single espresso costs 1,15 euros, so a double one is 2,30 and looked down at me!!!!
