It was quite confusing trying to make a reservation in Em Sherif. There is another one at Victor Hugo street and I kept thinking that is the "original" one, but later was then told they actually have 2 Em Sherif and the one on the roof is more for summer and the one at Victor Hugo is open when its winter. Even had difficulty calling because the numbers were different in different sources for the same restaurant. A lot of times it was also ringing but no one picked up. Nevertheless was happy that finally got a reservation and got to try their food. Was recommended by someone the place to visit for authentic Lebanese food. I was so shocked by the amount of food that was served to the table. There were so many courses in the cold mezzes then hot mezzes then to the mains and desserts. Where in the world can you find 6 courses for desserts? Food was really good and really got a good experience of knowing what Lebanese food is all about. Have to say I was very well taken care by the staff and they were all very friendly. Some might seem a bit shy to speak in English fearing they can't speak well but I totally understood everyone and had a great time at the restaurant. I bet this place has good views, just that it wasn't visible in the night. The ambience there was quite good too. I guessed just happened they were serving this group of people with a newlywed couple and they ended up dancing for a while with good music. Really enjoyed everything and hope will be able to visit them again. Note that its at the top floor of a hotel and will be subjected to some checks. It is better that you make a reservation as they will then have a list and will be able to let you up...
Read moreVery bad customer satisfaction We are never going to visit em sherif again! Friday I was in em sherif rooftop in Warwick Beach hotel and we got up so upset because right when we finished dinner and ordered the drinks suddenly we see the receipt on the table saying that we have a reservation right now without having any previous saying about it before! It turned out to be they have a system or what me and my fiance called deadline, that there's a 6 to 9 reservation & a 9 to 12. -Nobody told us -We had 3 ongoing calls that week because I changed the reservation day & time and nobody warned us -we reserved for 7 and no body said anything about 6 (sunset reservation hour). -We arrived 7:30 because of traffic & the food was served at 8.
Imagine paying a 70$ dinner for staying only 1 hour and not enjoying your night.
We got so upset! We sent our feedback on Instagram and they called to hear about what happened and nothing happened...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Beirut, I prioritized experiencing multiple Em Sherif establishments.
I sampled the cuisine at four different locations.
In my estimation, the rooftop location offered the most exceptional dining experience. Went twice for sunset and dinner.
The culinary offerings, service quality, and overall ambiance were truly remarkable, making it my preferred location.
I observed that the team operates with a high degree of professionalism, largely due to the leadership of Manager Na3im, who is exceptionally personable, business-savvy, and highly competent.
Additionally, Asi, one of the waitstaff members, provided excellent service with a welcoming demeanor and helpful attitude.
The entire staff consistently demonstrated exceptional service.
I appreciate the memorable experiences that enhanced my trip.
