My favourite restaurant of Lithuanian cuisine in Kaunas) This place attracts your attention with its original interior and a huge crowd of people every time. You can try out Lithuanian cuisine here. Berneliu uzeiga Smukle is perfect for lunch or dinner, for a large company or a small one. The restaurant is divided into several zones outside and inside, but it's always full. This happens because a restaurant offers a wide selection of traditional food (cepelinai, cold beet soup, kibinai, braised duck or rabbit, shakotis, and so on). A delicious taste is guaranteed! Be careful with a large portion if food :) I have been there several times - I was full and pleased with cuisine. So at the kitchen the skilled cooks prepare every dish with loving care. The service is good too. The staff will help you to choose something between traditional Lithuanian dishes. Must visit 💯

BEST BEST BEST FOOD I’VE EVER HAD !!!! 진짜 개존맛입니다 리투아니아 음식 제대로 경험하고 가요ㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ 강추합니다 Oh my gosh i cannot recommend this restaurant enough- so fantastic!!!!! The atmosphere is cozy and the food is definitely affordable. This restaurant is THE reason I would come back to Lithuania next time. PLEASE ORDER THE CARAMELIZED ONION STEAK DISH! Others were great but the caramelized onion dish was the absolute best. Everyone in my group was so jealous of my dish HAHA i think this is the best food among all the google reviews I posted. That’s a bold statement for me but if you’re ever in Kaunas, this restaurant is the stop you need to make!! Staff is nice but may have limited English. But who cares when the food is THIS amazing?! Thank you Berneliu Smukle! Made my trip so much better

This time last year I was at the same restaurant 🙌🏼 Really amazing food 🍲 Lithuania traditional food is served here and anytime I’ve been here it’s really delicious, so well done to the chef. Last year the staff were very accommodating, this year the server (young male, glasses was rude) which I always find ….. if you don’t speak Lithuanian they don’t want to talk to you, I was handed an English menu straight away and my partner was handed a Lithuanian menu??? (firstly I can speak a good bit of the Lithuanian language) I just didn’t appreciate this, the server didn’t talk or look at me or even ask which menu I wanted. Regardless of this, as an Irish person we don’t take it personally (just no big tip) the food was good which was the main thing 😁😁

AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS 👍👍👍👍👍 The food is top authentic Lithuanian food with best prices. The menu has a photo for each and every item which really helps if you don't speak the language like me or you don't really know what the food should look like. The beer, the home made apple and caraway seeds juice, the home made bread drink (i think it was named Kwas) and the home made grandma's tea were all amazingly delicious. For starter we got the soup in the bread and the Lithuanian potato dumplings. Both were very very tasty and delicious. The main dishes (steak and the Lithuanian steak) was good. I got the Lithuanian steak and it was a bit too seasoned and i couldn't finish it. But i was already really happy with what I've eaten and drunken 😊

We got this restaurant information from the hotel, and we had a very good experience in this restaurant. I had a local red wine, I don’t remember the name, it was interesting with the spicy feeling in the background. Since I like creamy, the stew rabbit was excellent! I just think it had so much side dish, it’s a big portion. And then the beef, so interesting and tasty. The beef is done, but somehow it still tastes so soft and tender, and the cheese doesn’t destroy the beef taste, it gives a good taste instead. And I like the side dish, which is salad with some sour cream that taste like tzatziki. All for good price!

Great traditional Lithuanian dishes. Lots of locals visit these restaurant chains as well so the food is generally authentic, and a reasonable price. Only thing is, you need to keep in mind it is a chain, it's not gourmet Lithuanian Cuisine. Service is a little hit and miss, but still very nice hearty, warming comfort food. For a drink try the Kwas... An unusual traditional drink from bread. I'd recommend anything from the menu. I went a couple of times and enjoyed it all. The portions are big.. So be warned when ordering!
