六福茶室 Lot 6 Hawker — Restaurant in Borneo

saw this lil shop interior intriguing so we went in at a random hour before dinner time. the interior is like those HK or SG hawker stall style which i like it! and apparently 英姐板面 is inside 🤭

we wanted to order their toasted roti kahwin to try, but turns out they ran out of roti. BRUH. how could you ran out of bread? 🥹 it's alright so we ordered 2 portugese tarts, 2 soft boiled eggs, and their claypot coffee.

OMG!! their portuguese tarts were really goooood 😍 cheap and good~ although we do hope that the tarts toasted longer like to see more burnt surfaces, but the taste wise, i must say they tasted goooood ✨

eggs, no comment haha because it's alright and decent 😂 but the coffee we forgot to mention less sweet. so we tried it was alright (although we personally prefer less sweet), it really had a unique flavor. we couldn't see if they REALLY poured from the claypot in front of of their shop (like KL PUDU style), so we're interested to come back to try again and watch them 🤭

overall, great experience! doesn't feel like we're in KK hehe. we will come back to try their mains. we're glad to see new styles...

The restaurant opened 7.30AM & we 4 person went there around 9.30AM, BUT:

1. Breads NOT AVAILABLE;
2. Niong chap only 2 types are available, menu shows overall got 5 types;
3. minuman buang panas NOT AVAILABLE ;
4. Egg tarts NOT AVAILABLE :
5. Spring noodles are too soft to be called Sandakan spring noodle;
6. Fried pork is good;
7. Century egg dumpling is good;
8. claypot coffee is good but not strong enough;
9. Milk tea is good;
10. Pan Mee is ok,
11. Nice ambient;
12. Cool in-door air conditioning ;
13. We planned to order Goat milk ice cream for each of us but LOST INTEREST after being told many things not available;
14. The cashier guy never smile a bit, as if we owe him money even before we placed our order.

CONCLUSION: The restaurant says open 7.30AM then every dish should be ready to be served from 7.30AM, without excuse.

OVERALL.This restaurant is suitable as a place to hang around and chit chat. Food is mediocre....

We ordered the wrong drink, and when I just walked back to ask, the staff told me it was already being made and even said milk was added. But last time we came here, the drinks were prepared really slowly. If you don’t want to refund, just say it directly — there’s no need to use such ridiculous excuses to lie to customers. We mistakenly ordered cincau kopi, and when we drank it, the taste clearly had no milk at all. The color was so dark — where was the milk? Where exactly did you add it?

Then when we asked to take away the drink, the staff just poured it into a plastic bag with a straw and handed it to us. No tying up, nothing. After we sat down, the staff kept staring at us — is this your idea of...
