Initially drawn in by a promising review on Facebook, my visit to the restaurant fell short of expectations. The sup ikan, though the fish was relatively fresh, had an unsettling ammonia taste in the soup, reminiscent of the onset of fish spoilage. Moreover, considering its price at RM12, the portion of cutlet served was disappointingly small. While the tomyum soup is heavy coconut milk base but may have been spoiled, resulting in an unpleasant taste. The chee cheong fun lacked its characteristic springy texture and was disappointingly murky and soft. The overpowering taste of low quality sesame oil in the sauce further detracted from the dish's appeal. While the roasted chicken dry noodle was the most palatable among the offerings, it still failed to meet my average standards. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I don't foresee returning for another visit.

I used to enjoy the Char Kueh Teow here — it was tasty and quite recommendable. However, during my recent visit, the quality had dropped significantly. The Char Kueh Teow had lost all its flavour, and when I gave feedback to the boss, he casually replied that the fire from the gas tank wasn't strong because the gas was almost empty — not a great excuse for such poor quality. On top of that, the porridge was overly salty, and the century egg tasted artificial — almost like silicone. The only items we found acceptable were the *kopi* and *kopi-O* we ordered. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad impression, and it will be my last visit.

1. Taste: 3/5 2. Presentation: 3/5 3. Portion size: 3/5 4 Temperature: 3/5 5. Service: 2/5 6. Value for money: 4/5 7. Overall: 3/5 1st of all thy 4got my order n i had to wait. Pork belly had way too much fat on it n tasted ok. Was hopping noodles w black ketchup source but it was mixed in oil. Tasted good for an average guy like me. However, the Char kway teow was really good n dat wld hv been a better option thn the pork belly. The place is situated on a corner lot, it can get hot n there’s a variety of stalls so many different alternatives to choose from.
