I'm not going to review about how the food there is like. I get that many reviews are talking about their favourite ones or likeable ones and I also get that we all have different taste in food. What I'm going to review about is hygiene. Whenever I had my dinner there on weekends, I noticed that the only stall who practice it is the one who has Nestum Chicken/Fish on their menu. (I'm sorry. Until now, I still do not know the name of the stall, but it is a few stalls after the satay stall facing another coffee shop across the road with lesser people in it.) I believe the owner is a middle age Chinese man with a native lady assisting him at the stall. Their hands will always be covered in transparent gloves, except for when they send the meal to your table, obviously. And they are nice. Wondering how their food taste like? Fine, I like it. No, in fact, I LOVE it. It's the meal I go to whenever I go for dinner. And also their...
Read moreSo far, other places that serves variety of food are good. The only places i don't recommended is for the stall that sell mixed rice. Recently i go there want to take away food only, the owner that sell the mixed rice food didn't treated good, the way he expressed himself is kinda rude. Or maybe because i only want to take away food thats how he treated me, he even charged me for meat / chicken / fish portion if take away he charge rm10, either its plenty or little left he still charged rm10 also, vege either its plenty of little he still charged rm5 per take away. I've been to many places before, so far no any problem, i do consider now all increased prices. Opposite this kopitiam also have another kopitiam, they do serves mixed rice too, so i bought my food from the opposite, can even bought food per take away. For this mixed rice stall, its my first & last buying there. Sory to say, very bad...
Read moreOne of my favourite food courts in Kuching as I find several dishes I like here. The black vinegar mee is very tasty with a good portion of black vinegar. The fried chicken wings are for me one of the best in Kuching. The carrot cake is not bad here and good for a small snack. Discovered recently the Guo Tie from the Chinese noodle stall. 3 choices pork, pork and veggies an only veggies. I like the combination pork and veggies. Ask for the non-spicy sauce which is more tasteful. Also like the Teochew oyster omelette, good ortion of oysters. Unfortunately some stalls have disappeared during the covid19 period. But overall still a lot of choice. And still a popular foodcourt. Drinks...
