Oinks! — Restaurant in Sarawak

Nice environment & good services. Another "business class" place to have friend gathering. We ordered Prawn & Pork Delights Pasta, Classic Pork Chop and Pork Bacon Pizza. The foods are nice & portion are big, suitable to share with friends.

Prawn & Pork Delights Pasta -pasta is al-Dante, just the right taste, the prawn are fresh & its taste "Q", the pork meat cook to the right texture, the fat : meat layer is 2:3, hence pork belly lover will like it.

Classic Pork Chop -not very tender as it is quite hard to chew & its blackpepper sauce taste not remarkable. However, together with the pork chop, served the mashed potatoes which taste good as you can really bites some potato cubes inside the mash.

Pork Bacon Pizza -my 1st choice would be this. As the waiter served the bacon & pizza, the smell already flew in my nose, it make my stomach go hungry 😋. It is full of mozzarella cheese and absolutely thin pizza crust. Soft at the middle & crispy at the outer crust.

For the drink, my friend ordered coca-cola float & it is really a big one & look satisfy. I ordered a cup of hot honey lemon & to my surprise the drink didn't tasted bitter after the lemon sliced soaked in the drink for too long, not like other places that I drink before. 👍

Overall I am quite satisfy with my dinner at there, but still will consider 1st if want to visit next time as the price is quite expensive. Hahahaha

It started with a booking for dinner. When we arrived there was no booking found despite several confirmations via WhatsApp, so we were offered a table on the first floor, where we were cramped into a corner of the room which was booked for a function. It had all the ambience of a broom closet. When shown the menu, almost half the items were no longer available. We ordered from what was offered, made difficult by further "no stock" responses. The waitress was pleasant. We ordered a Guinness beer. When it was brought to us, it must have been the worlds smallest Guinness ever seen, of course the price was inflated from the usual sized beer served in other restaurants. No other size available. The signature burger has gone from the menu, and more than half the sausages available were not available. (2/7 types to choose from). We also ordered a pork knuckle and well, see for yourself in the pictures, I thought they were playing some sort of joke. That picture shows a bone that was presented thinly covered with pieces of pork, mainly fat and skin. The salad was literally 3 pieces of lettuce - nothing else. The mash was about 2 scoops of the driest, blandest stuff I have ever tasted. What a shame, we used to visit this restaurant often years ago, and encourage our tourist friends to go. It was fantastic. We have been away for years overseas and this is what is served now. Run a mile. We will never go back and will now advise our friends to...

I ordered a few dishes but I found out the quality of food went down.

Smoked duck is so fat. It's not the same quality as they started and not as nice as before. The pork chop is even worse. It's so hard. Pork ribs are not great too. Just a taste of some sweetness but nothing's great! The portion is small too now.

I rather pick another diner over this one.

One more thing is when I called, they always have excuse to say their tables are fully booked and didn't want to open up the floor upstairs. Bad management!

Don't be so proud! Your quality of food is not good now. You expect walk in customers to pay a high price and sit outside without aircon all the time?!!!

I rather go to an aircon restaurants that serve me well quality food. You are not much different than coffee shop's quality food.

I WON'T RECOMMEND going there anymore. There are better restaurants...
