🎳Jan 2022 This place is always bustling with activity, offering plenty of tables and a wide variety of food choices. Although prices have increased significantly, a trend seen across many eateries, the quality remains high. The laksa here is a standout, delivering an explosion of flavors with a perfect balance of spice and creaminess. Each bite takes you on a journey through layers of rich broth and fresh ingredients, making for a truly satisfying experience. The curry roasted pork belly mixed steam chicken breast worth to try, tender chicken and crisly pork soaked with flavourful curry gravy, a food from heaven.
🍐Dec 2021 I was initially tempted by the Pork Nasi Lemak, but my excitement quickly turned to disappointment with the first bite. The pork looked crispy, but it was actually soaked and chewy, which was a letdown. On a brighter note, the fried pancake was quite nice, though a bit too sweet for my taste. The pizza, however, was good and definitely worth a try.
🥥Dec 2021 The pork kueh tiaw soup at this stall is a delightful treat, especially the flavorful soup and perfectly cooked poached egg. However, the pork slices were disappointingly rubbery, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Similarly, the pork stew and char siew rice showed promise, but they lacked the wow factor. I couldn't help but think that serving them with curry would elevate the flavors and add a much-needed dimension to the dishes. Overall, while there were some highlights, such as the tasty soup and poached egg, the rubbery pork slices and the lackluster pork stew and char siew rice left me with mixed feelings about this stall. With a few tweaks and additions, it has the potential to offer truly...
Read moreFood (I like only the laksa and beignet) here. What I really disliked was the service for drink orders. The only person who really was working was an elderly aunty. The rest of the staff from the coffeeshop just couldnt be bothered. They seem to only take orders when they feel like it. A lot of tables were left in a mess. My next time ... I will pack to go. I wont bother to eat here. Not worth the attitude one has to put up with here. However, if you are eating there and you get an elderly Aunty to take your drink order, share a smile and a word of thanks. The only person who is making an effort around all the young...
Read moreOne dish I must recommend is the malak spinach noodle. Go for the spiciest on the menu. When the spiciness hits, wash it down with a mouthful of iced coffee or milk, and start digging your head in the bowl of noodle. Rinse and repeat. The traditional kongpia (tiny Chinese pork burgers) pork meat is salty and slightly spicy from the loads of garlic. There are many other stalls to try from too. With its expanded menu and great service, it's no wonder people are attracted to this site...
