Food was a strong 3. The ayam geprek just taste like inferior Sugarbun Chicken, and is just kept in a warmer instead of freshly fried. Tempe was served hard and cold. The sambal is the real criminal. Overly salty. Personally it was also too spicy but I understand that spicy level is subjective, but there is no option for a less spicy geprek sambal.
Price: I've seen other flagship geprek/penyet shops charge way less for their ayam geprek. 17.90 for ayam geprek brooo 😭 and they charge rm3.80 for a different sambal 😭 i was really disappointed when my rm3.80 sambal hijau tasted identical to my regular sambal. Overly salted. Kopitiam drinks for rm6++ is also on the high end side, but customer service did not feel high end at all.
At least the unlimited soup was nice...
Sorry there are better geprek shops out...
