It was my friends and my first time at Terra Cafe and it seemed like a nice cafe.
However, my friend, who arrived earlier and had her order served first, was surprised to see her bagel sandwich came without the beautiful salad side that she was expecting. She was looking forward to have it since she set her eyes on the dish via their Instagram. We asked why the lack of the side and the staff replied, "It was just for illustration purposes and that it was an old photo." Felt cheated? Yes, but we moved in since the menu didn't mention that it would come with sides.
My friend then said to not look at the photos when ordering so I ordered based on the description given on the menu. I ordered the sambal chicken rice that said "Deep fried chicken served with sunny side up, anchovies, peanuts and sambal bilis spread and greens".
However, when I got my food, not only it looked small in portion (doesn't worth the price of RM17.90) , the "promised" anchovies and peanuts weren't there. The chicken was also not deep fried. It was more of small sad-looking white slices of chicken mixed with anchovies sambal that came out of a Yeo's sambal bilis can.
When I asked the staff regarding the lack in my plate, he replied awkwardly, "Oh, we don't have." I felt cheated. Totally felt like false advertisement. I asked further why they didn't inform me earlier if it wasn't available. Again, he repeated the same thing. I nicely asked to talk to the boss and he said he wasn't around. And that's it. Nothing else done. How unprofessional.
And speaking of being unprofessional, while we were there, we were also accompanied by the sound of moon cake tins clashing and clanging and clanking as almost all of the staff were working actively on them. And this happened when there were customers in the cafe.
Therefore in general, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Do question your menu before ordering. Think twice as well as the food isn't worth the price.
Last but not least, Terra Cafe, please do not give false advertisement to your customers and please get your staff trained, too.
After the complaint, I was about to just dig in, hoping to find any hidden peanuts and anchovies in there, when my friend stopped me and reminded me to take a photo. Thus, my plate looked that way.

There were missing things on my friend's dishes. No apologies were made nor were they notified of ingredients running out until their meals were served. I for one, don't like wasting food but I couldn't finish my meal. :(
Next door boss came in and stood at the door asking in a loud voice for the owner of the car that parked in front and wanted it moved and was very rude about it. Causing embarrassment to my friend. It was a free and unmarked parking. He just wanted it vacant so the gas delivery could park later. There was only 1 other customer there and all 5 staff just stood there and not bothered to defend my friend and tell him not to be rude to their customers. She did nothing wrong. She was doing him a favour to move her car, which at that time had no vacant...

The Sambal Anchovies Toast is Surprisingly very Good, Spicy enough for those Sambal Lovers, and is also their Best Seller. They are using the Finest Niko Neko Yuri Powder for their Matcha Latte, which Taste Good as well. Pandan Slice Cake is Good as it's not Sweet and Cake Texture is Fluffy. The Parking Space outside may be a bit Limited, and it's Feeling Quite Hot inside the Cafe though. But the Overall Cafe...
