We’ve been a regular since the first week of their opening. We’ve eaten here at least more than 5 times, mainly because their food is good, authentic and genuine Indian cuisine. We even know the boss, J personally after coming to know that it was he and his brother who started this Claypothaus.
The bosses are great people with a great attitude to serve, however some of the staffs, which I am not ashamed to single out now for her unacceptable and rude remarks. She goes by the name of Ben(Bennedette) as we’re told.
Since it was our 5th time(Approximately) dining here at 7th May, 1:30pm, we came with a pleasant heart expecting a good Sunday lunch, but lo and behold this server by the name Ben came and remarked “Kamu kah yang BANYAK complain hari tu”, to which we were appalled by her ridiculous opening words to a REGULAR customer, despite our constructive feedbacks previously to the waitress/restaurant manager in charge on their mistakes they made such as sending over wrong orders, forgetting orders, and the general efficiency of the waitresses, yet we still patronise this restaurant instead of boycotting them.
But this particular remark from Ben ticked us off, and she even had to audacity to defend herself unapologetically until we had to put her in her place. What’s more, she even said that “she’s not working here” 😅
To us, that is utter rudeness, it’s like telling your customers, “I don’t work here, so the fact that I am still serving you means that I’m doing you a favour”.
Those unpleasant and offensive words from Ben spoiled all our appetite that day.
We are supporters of local operators and service providers especially when they are sincere. I believe in second chances, but this kind of attitude makes me think twice about coming...
