3 Leg Cat Cafe — Restaurant in George Town

I was looking for a good place to get food and spend the afternoon working on my computer. I found 3 Leg Cat Cafe, a nice cozy spot at Golden Triangle.

I got some salted egg fries to start (cause we were really hungry), hoping they would arrive quickly - and they did! Perfect shape, fry and seasoning. * 17rm

I ordered the Spicy Korean Karaage with cheese & corn. The chicken was a perfect crunch, flavourful and very satisfying. The corn & cheese was a bit too much butter for me, but that said, fo for it if you love soul foods, and want the full indulgence. *26 rm

My partner got the Lemonasaur Burger - essentially a double patty fried chicken burger served with a wedge of lemon. I took a big bite and it tasted great without any ketchup or fixings. Rob found some cartilage and fat / gristle that he doesn't like in a burger. ** 29 rm

I didn't end up staying to work in the space, cause I got too full and headed home for a nap! lol. The food was delectable enough that I took a Pandan Latte Ice 13rm and Mocha Rum & Raisin Cheesecake 18rm to go. The Pandan is a beautiful subtle flavour with the latte. The cake is a mouse texture, topped with a chocolate rum ball. At first bite, the rich blend of coffee and rum wakes the tastebuds, with the occasional chunk of raisin. It's nice, but part of me was wishing I got the tiramisu. *1/2 18rm

One of my favorite cafe and it’s pet friendly! They have a lot of games great for friends gathering and hangout sessions! It’s a 2 floors cafe. All pet must be with owner not allowed to free roaming in the cafe in case run out which is at your own risk. Here’s what we tried :

Spicy Egg ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Well seasoned with a slight kick to it. The omelette was fluffy and satisfying. It goes very well with rice.

Chicken Salsa Wrap ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Decent and quite big in size.

Balinese Curry Prawn Rice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious! Thick fragrant curry and fresh prawn are used. I loved how they were considerate enough to peel away the middle section of the shell to absorb the curry into it more and it’s easier to peel away the head and tail with chopsticks and spoon.

Mocha Rum & Raisins Cheesecake ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Seriously must try for Rum & Raisins lovers. This is heavenly thick yet not too sweet cheesecake is my top favorite right now. The fat fat rum soaked raisins are simply delightful surprise as you take each bite! 🤤

Shakerato Original ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Good drink with smooth thick milk coffee, nothing special.

Lemonasur Burger ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It’s really a special burger that matches well with its refreshing lemon sauce! The fries were perfect too!

English Curry Clam Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Don’t be fooled by its yellow colour, it is creamy, thick and still pack a kick of spiciness as well! Loved the curry spices that go well with the pasta and clams.

1. overall - clean environment, air-cond, 2 levels of sitting, games corner, board games and reading corner are available at 3 Leg Cat cafe.
2. shashuka baked egg deluxe with the added cheese brought up the whole flavour of shashuka but I would advice to use more natural ingredient to replace the processed food for a more healthy option.
3. signature nasi lemak looked normal when they served. Was thinking the portion is big and may not be able to finish but oh man the first bite of the chicken, it was so juicy and with its secret recipe, the chicken was really nice. Eventually we wallop the whole plate, highly recommended
4. Japanese curry garlic fried rice served in big portion, plenty of curry sauce and full of flavours. fried chicken leg was alright though.
5. salted egg salmon skin tasted okay, 2 tasted independently, when you eat the skin alone, you won’t be able the salted egg flavour
6. carbonara tasted good, liked the caramelised onion and bacon, very creamy as well.
7. latte - tasted good
8. creamy tomyum pasta - sauce was good, spicy and sweet, however the pasta was a little undercooked
