Yi Ke Shu Bayan Lepas — Restaurant in George Town

My recent experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food quality was underwhelming, with dishes that tasted mediocre at best. What exacerbated the situation was the extremely slow service – it took a staggering 45 minutes for our orders to arrive.

The anticipation turned into frustration as we watched other tables receive their meals much quicker. It’s essential for the restaurant to improve its efficiency in the kitchen and ensure that all customers receive their orders in a timely manner.

I believe there’s potential here, and I hope the management takes these criticisms constructively. Enhancing the quality of the dishes and streamlining the service can transform this place into a much more enjoyable dining experience. I would love to see improvements in the future, but, for now, I cannot recommend this...

Visit on 19 September 2017: Vegetarian Restaurant that serves a variety of Asian and western food that are mostly vegan, just a small selection that has milk and cheese. They also offer a selection of VEGAN CAKES!

I had the Vegan Salted Caramel cake, and it's pretty good. Would recommend their delicious cakes that is at reasonable prices.

Their food seem to be mostly made from scratch, all fresh wholefood ingredients. There are some dishes that are really good, some are just ok. The portions could be bigger with more toppings at the moderate price point. Still, affordable.

Order at the cashier. Service is a bit slow, staff needs to be more attentive. Warm and cosy ambience....

Initially feel that the price was abit at the higher end given the environment and the food portion. However, we really feel that our selection was really delicious and memorable. Definitely will come back again.

One thing to note is the patty of the pumpkin burger which felt a bit flat on the texture. The soft pumpkin patty melted nicely which elevates the juiciness of the burger but it does not contribute any texture to the it. It will be a prefect dish if something more solid or chewy added as a...
