This is a roadside stall located within a little hawker centre at the corner of the road. Uncle cooks in advance as he anticipates his customers ahead, rather than cook to order. What impresses me is that even though each plate is dished up and not served in a claypot, the smell is divine and my kids polished off each and every grain of rice. Really delicious with wok hei and a bit of crunch from salted fish and charred rice. Definitely worth the RM7.50 per plate.

Very nice claypot rice in the island side of Penang, taste wise it is pretty good, but of course can’t be compared to the one in KL. Price is super affordable but the only downside is they don’t serve it in claypot so I can’t the those delicious crispy part of the rice.
