Get your fix of local hawker food from stalls and shops along the roadside of the Jelutong wet market. Economy fried bihun, char koay teow, char koay kak, local desserts (leng chee kang, si koay thng, gandum, red bean, etc), muar chee are some foods available here. Char koay kak was good and had wok hei. However, the char koay teow lacked wok hei and small portion. The leng chee kang and si koay thng were just nice. Muar chee was the best I tasted, so soft and chewy. The elderly lady seller says it doesn't stick to your teeth. However, it had too much sugar in the peanut powder.

Prawn mee was delicious. The broth was strong in flavour. Pork rib was delicious. Especially the pork skin was so wonderful with appropriate layer of collagen under the skin. RM7 per bowl with extra ingredients of pork rib and pork skin. 4 stars Frog porridge was delicious. Have the option to add on fishball, minced pork and others. Porridge was just so so but frog was outstanding delicious and fresh. 4 stars Su Ko TNG (4 fruits dessert drinks) RM3 at nearby stall was delicious and worth. Generous ingredients especially delicious was the 3 pieces of sweet potato. 4 stars

At RM 5 for a small bowl, it was enough to satiate my late night cravings 😁 Had a very homely feeling to the whole flavour, very deep and bold. Loved it!
