06 Apr 2023: Came back to try the Salmon Carbonara and was pleasantly satiated. Fantastic sauce and salmon done to perfection – crisp salty skin with the meat cooked just right (overcooked and you get the texture of canned tuna/salmon, ugh). Same amount of house wine which didn’t serve alcoholic well (had the same glass on previous trip while waiting for my duck). For a good double dose head over to G Spot G Hotel Gurney which currently runs a one-for-one promo on their house wines, whiskey, gin and rum.
02 Apr 2023: Friendly and accommodating staff took my order with the most pleasant demeanour :) Duck confit is not easy to make as I usually got them too dry. Club J made a pretty good rendition of the main — moist and tender with slightly charred skin. The taste was good with the chutney but I what I liked best was the sides — vegetables chargrilled to perfection and the deep fried breaded oyster on a bed of pickled jelly fish. The mash was tasty too! Will be exciting to try other dishes! And just look at those beautiful disposable...

Service - very good. Waiter took noticed when we requested to switch on a light, since we wanted to take a good picture of the food as a birthday celebration. Switched us to a seating with better lighting.
Due to work and traffic, we pushed out the appointment 1 hour later. They were very accommodating.
Wait time - slow took 2 hours 30 mins to serve for the full course set.
Price - affordable fine dining.
Food -
mushroom soup was great, probably one of the best I've had.
Cod fish was alittle raw at the sides but the middle portions was fully cooked and had crispy skin, so overall was decent but can be improved.
Beef - portion is small. It was really medium rare, close to rare beef. Quite difficult to eat.
Tiger prawn - flavourful, pretty to look at.
Dessert - tiramisu is good on its own. But the combination of both the ice cream and tiramisu. Ermm can be improved. Too bitter...
